The BTEC Higher National Certificate and Diploma in Interactive Media mainly offers a progression route for learners who are studying a Diploma in Foundation Studies (Art and Design), a National Diploma in Design or a National Diploma in Art and Design and equivalent to any foundation degree.

Learners studying on the BTEC Higher National Diploma will be able to either gain employment in the interactive media sector or continue their pathway studies at BA/BSc 1 year or MA at certain universities.

Fees:

  • UK Students: £ 2950 per annum
  • International Students: £4500 per annum

Entry Requirement:

  • 4 GCSEs with 2 GCE A Level
  • B-Tec Level 3 Qualification or any associate diplomas in engineering or IT
  • International qualification Higher School leaving certificate (intermediate) or equivalent with CEFR B1 Level ESOL/IELTS
  • Mature students over the age of 21 with no formal qualification but experience and another qualifications may be admitted at the discretion of the admission tutor

Progression Route

On completion of 2 years HND Students can use the pathway for a progression to final year of the BSc degree or alternatively proceed to post graduate diploma Level 7.

The 16-unit BTEC Higher National Diploma (Foundation Degree Level) provides greater breadth and specialisation than the BTEC Higher National Certificate. Higher National Diplomas are mode free but are followed predominately by full-time learners. They allow progression into or within employment in the interactive media sector, either directly on achieving of the award or following further study to degree level.
