Semester dates
For students on the Graduate Diploma (GD) and Post Graduate (PGD) Programmes, the academic year is split into three semesters. Each semester consists of a teaching period followed by submission of assignments and external examinations (Where ever applicable)
The enrolment and induction week in semester one is for first year students only. Students on the GD & PGD must:
- ensure they are available for all periods marked as teaching and examinations
- be ready to be available during resubmission of assignment or rework and wherever applicable for re-sit examination periods.
Students on other programmes (outside of the GD, including taught postgraduate programmes) may have similar commitments to those described in these calendars. You should contact your Lecturer / Principal for more information, including the confirmed schedule of Semester / Assignment/ Examinations for your programme.
Courses that have a significant practice component may fall outside of normal semester dates.
