The admission process at MCHEMT is very simple and comprises the following stages. If you live overseas and would like to apply for a place at Manchester Technology College, the correct application procedure is explained here. By selecting a link, you will be given further details regarding each stage of the application process.
- A filled application form, which can be done online through our website
- A copy of the applicant’s passport
- Passport size photographs or scanned copy (taken at least in the last 3 months)
- Copies of your previous educational certificates, including results cards or degree etc
- Letters from past and present employers confirming work experience (if applicable).
- If you are waiting for references or final exam results you may still send your application and may be accepted on a provisional basis.
- Any remaining documents required for admission must be submitted to the Admissions Office before registration
Call the college accounts department on 0161 833 3774 to make payments. After depositing the fees you can request a CAS letter from the Admissions office. Then all documents must be submitted to the British High Commission. At this stage, a student may send the deposit if he/she wants the college to arrange their accommodation. In this case, a letter confirming their accommodation in Manchester is also issued.
