Requirements
• A Bachelors Degree in Computer Art, Multimedia Design, New Media, Visual Communications or equivalent from a recognized

Job Description:
You will have lead responsibility for the efficient and effective operation of the undergraduate admissions process and the management of the undergraduate admissions team, ensuring that the principles of fair admissions are adhered to, that students of the highest quality are admitted and that intake targets are secured. You will set and achieve the highest standards of customer service and professionalism. You will keep abreast of significant national developments in admissions and curriculum reform and ensure that the College responds to them in a timely and appropriate manner. You will have well-developed management skills, able to lead and motivate a team and capable of directing a large and complex operation. You must have excellent data retrieval and analysis skills. An ability to work sensitively with a wide range of stakeholders and to have credibility with senior academics is essential.

You must have relevant teaching qualifications, a willingness to work both within the College environment and in the Community and a thorough understanding of the Skills for Life embedding agenda (entry level to level 5).
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- To contribute to the development of best practice of teaching, learning and assessment with additional emphasis on improving student attainments
- To design the teaching plan for allocated modules and deliver lectures accordingly
- To develop handouts covering all the lecture's contents as part of academic duties and submit to the administration for printing prior to term start. Hard copies of complete handouts for all the modules are to be handed to the students during the induction week.
- To help students learn exam techniques and practice past papers
- To conduct student assessments through regular assignments and Progress Evaluation Tests (PETs). PETs are conducted during each term for each module as part of ongoing process to improve quality of education at the College. To mark the Progress Evaluation Tests and provide feedback to the students as part of academic duties.
- To ensure that the lecture sessions are started and ended on time according to the set timetable
- To take student attendance according to the guidelines set in lecturers induction pack.
- You should be able to teach HND and foundation degree level courses and have a good understanding of assessments and marking.
- To be successful in this position you will ideally have an FE teaching qualification coupled with an ESOL qualification and substantial experience within the sector. Your excellent spoken and written English skills, together with the ability to teach large mixed ability groups will be key to your success
