| Recognition of OTHM qualifications:
R.1 That Holders of the OTHM Certificate re eligible to apply for entry to year one of the LSBU BA (Hons) Undergraduate Programme in Tourism and Hospitality.
R.2. That Holders of the OTHM Diploma, may apply for direct entry to year two of the LSBU BA(Hons) Undergraduate Programme in Tourism and Hospitality.
R.3. That Holders of the OTHM Higher Diploma, may apply for direct entry to the Final year of the LSBU BA (Hons) Undergraduate Programme in Tourism and Hospitality subject to the relevant level of work experience.
R.4. Exceptionally, subject ot meeting APEL conditions students successfully completing the OTHM Diploma will be eligible to enter Level3 of the LSBU BA(Hons) Undergraduate Programme in Tourism and Hospitality; and those with the OTHM Higher Diploma will exceptionally be eligible to enter the LSBU MSc International Tourism Marketing.

For more information, please visit www.othm.org.uk Entry Requirements For any of the OTHM qualifications, students must demonstrate competence in the English by the attainment of one of the following:
- IELTS 6.0
- LCCI English for Business (EFB) 1st or 2nd level
- Pitman/City & Guilds English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)/English for Business Communications
- RSA (OCR) English language stage- 11
- British Council Intermediate Certificate in English/Upper Advanced Certificate in English
Certificate level
 Certificate is suitable for students who have already gained an OTHM Introductory Certificate or who have qualifications at the level of GCE/GCSE or equivalent. It is also suitable for mature students with at least 5 years relevant experience. This qualification will help team leaders and supervisors and those who want to rise to the first tier of management. Each module assessed by a three hour written examination.

Diploma Level
 Diploma is suitable for people who have passed the OTHM Certificate (or equivalent) or who already working at supervisory or management level. Diploma students are expected to either have work experience in the industry before joining the course or be working part-time in the industry during the course or both. Candidates should note that if they intend to study for further professional qualifications in the industry a certain amount of industrial experience will probably be required. Each module assessed by a three hour written examination

Higher Diploma
Higher Diploma is suitable for people who work in the Tourism and Hospitality Industry and who have already gained an OTHM Diploma, or other qualifications at a suitable level. This qualification is appropriate for middle and senior managers. Higher Diploma students are expected to either have work experience in the industry before joining the course or be working part-time in the industry during the course or both. Candidates should note that if they intend to study for further professional qualifications in the industry a certain amount of industrial experience will probably be required. Each module assessed by a three hour written examination, except HD6; assessed by project.

OTHM has a key relationship with London South Bank University allowing holders of the OTHM Higher Diploma to have direct entry to the final year of London South Bank University's Bachelor's degree program BA (Hon's.) in Tourism and Hospitality. Students who have successfully completed the OTHM Higher Diploma and who have two year's management experience in the tourism and hospitality industry eligible to apply for entry to London South Bank University's MSc program.
Thames Valley University has also accredited OTHM programs and considered applications to their Tourism and Hospitality Degrees and Postgraduate programs.
